Alonso nasceu em 1960 em Angola. Em 1975 vem viver para Portugal e começa a pintar em 1978. Em 1981 vem viver para Lagos e cria o “Atelier da Casa redonda”. Participa em várias exposições, colabora em Cabo Verde com a “Aldeia de Arte dos Rabelados” na criação de ateliês de pintura e cerâmica e no Japão participa na pintura de um mural para a Galeria “Desing Festa” em Tokyo.

A pintura deste urso surgiu na ideia de que teremos que estar juntos com força, perseverança e humildade na construção de um mundo global e estamos representados neste animal tão peculiar. O coração branco simboliza a paz: Um caminho seguro para vencermos.

Alonso was born in 1960 in Angola. In 1975 he comes to live in Portugal and starts painting in 1978. In 1981 he comes to Lagos to live and creates the “Atelier da Casa redonda”. He participates in several exhibitions and works in Cape Verde with the “ Aldeia de Arte dos Rabelados” in the creation of workshops, painting and ceramics and Japan participated in painting a mural for the gallery “Desing Festival” in Tokyo.
